The UAE counts 16 golf courses, including 11 in Dubai and 3 in Abu Dhabi 3 of these golf courses host European Tour tournaments like the Abu Dhabi HSBC, The Dubai Desert Classic and the DP World Championship, Race to Dubai final event.The golfing season is Mid-October to Mid –May, with November and February being the busiest month for golf. There is no rain, so tee-times are guaranteed. The dress code is the same as any other golf course around the world.

Dubai Hills Golf Club
Tee off to a brand-new golfing experience at this serene and lush lifestyle destination located only 15 minutes from Downtown Dubai. Dubai Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole par-72 championship golf course designed by European Golf Design and managed by Troon Golf.
Arabian Ranches Golf Club
The design concept for this golf course was to build a true desert-style course similar to those found in Scottsdale, Arizona. At an impressive length of 7,658 yards, this course provides a true test for golfers. The elegant Spanish Colonial Clubhouse features Ranches Restaurant which offers stunning views of the 9th and 18th greens.
The Montgomerie
Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai, set in the heart of the prestigious Emirates Hills, is a design collaboration between golfing great Colin Montgomerie and Desmond Muirhead. A links-land style oasis with over 200 acres and featuring 14 lakes and 81 bunkers which will challenge players of all levels.
Trump International
Located in the heart of DAMAC Hills, Trump International Golf Club, Dubai exceeds all expectations. This stunning property features an exquisite championship links-style golf course designed by world-renowned and 2016 Olympic golf course architect, Gil Hanse, and boasts state-of-the-art golf facilities, including the Trump Dubai Golf Performance Academy with air-conditioned indoor swing studios and the 9-hole, Par 3 floodlit golf course.
Dubai Creek Golf Club
The Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club overlooks the Creek and Marina. Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club opened in January 1993 to world acclaim and since then it has been host to numerous tournaments and events, including the Dubai Desert Classic on two occasions. The course record of 63 is jointly held by Lee Westwood and Darren Clarke.
Jumeirah Golf Estates
Designed by Greg Norman to exist in harmony with the natural desert landscape, Fire is a tough and, needless to say, a fiery challenge for golfers of all abilities. While the Earth course uses bold colours to provide its contrasts, Fire’s are more refined. The native grasses display a golden glint in the sunlight, and away from the immaculate playing surfaces, large terracotta bunkers punctuate the rolling terrain.
Emirates Golf Club
The flagship course at Emirates Golf Club, The Majlis championship course is a challenging par 72, 7,301-yard layout. Designed by Florida-based course architect Karl Litten, the original 18 holes were built in and around the dunes of a beautiful site on the edge of the city of Dubai, donated by His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on whose instructions the desert flora was maintained in its natural state.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club
Abu Dhabi Golf Club, designed by Peter Harradine in 1998, is a 27- Hole Championship course that opened its doors to golfers and non golfers alike in May of 2000. The impressive clubhouse, built in the shape of a falcon with its wings outstretched, overlooks the golf course. The Clubhouse dominates the scene as you look across the lakes from the far end of the course.
Saddiyat Beach Golf Club
The breathtaking Par 72 Saadiyat Beach Golf Club was the Arabian Gulf’s first beachfront course.Designed by golfing legend, Gary Player, the 18 hole championship course and top of the range practice facilities harness the beauty of Saadiyat Island and create an unparalleled golfing experience with views of the Gulf’s glittering ocean.
Al Hamra Golf Club
This 18-hole golf course, designed by Peter Harradine, meanders around four interconnected open-water lagoons, merging seamlessly with the water of the Arabian Gulf. As many traditional courses do, the front nine, measuring 3,578 yards, makes its way out and away from the Clubhouse. The back nine measuring, 3,747 yards, returns home around the lagoon to the Clubhouse. The result is a stunning Par 72 Championship Golf course, measuring 7,325 yards at full length, designed with five varying tee options on each hole.
